All I know is that it's the most fun car I've ever driven. That is generally a good sign for values long-term. It's a special car.

So thinking about getting a Scud. Unlike most buyers, I would want a leather interior. What could I get (colors, miles, condition, etc) for $185k?

Have been waiting for that inflection point with the 458s and the market seems to respect a Scud as a collector car.

Yes, the prices are down. They have been for sometime.

And what's with the 1,500? You used to tout 1,600 (both wrong btw as there were more than 1,600 made).

Sorry to burst your bubble, Scuderias that are priced too high are sitting unsold. It's not about the car as I love the car but prices are down down down.

You're wasting your breath. He won't admit that the scud is anything but the best investment in the world.

You can definitely get a solid scud for 185. You will see lots of cars priced from 200-250 but those are asking prices, not selling prices. I also like leather seats and would prefer them but not a requirement. If (when) I'm ready to really pull the trigger I will probably make a few offers and see which sellers are really wanting to sell and not just hoping to get a high price. What colors will you consider or not consider? I would consider anything but red, but my preference would be (in order) Silverstone, Titanio, Nero.

    1500.
    1600.
    Its all the same.
And its a modified 430 in the end.

Almost everything is down down down.

The bottom end of the Scud market sells. The top end sits.
When all is said and done a properly bought Scud will cost very little compared to the depreciation of newer mid engined Ferrari V-8s.
    It's what I call a "free car".
    Buy it.
    Drive it.
    Sell it for the same price;
    Free.

    Live the dream for free.
    Slam dunk no-brainer.

I'm still living the dream, 7 years. Did buy a 997.2 gt3 as a supplement. Like to get a three peddle 335 gts or 360 spider to add to the mix in yellow. I will keep the scud.

OK with red, white, yellow, silverstone. Blue too if they made some in that color.

Leather interior on a scuderia its not an easy thing; and if you find one you might need to compromise on the color. I've seen some with all red or yellow leather interior. Too loud for my taste. My scuderia has a black interior with red stitching. Good luck with your search.

I have red and black leather in my scud and it works well with the other colors and materials in the interior. It gives the car a very distinctive, and fast look.

Hey it’s SCUUUUD from ig. I’d also talk you out of a SA I know many owners who either dislike them or have sold them. Nothing wrong with them if you’re looking for a faster 458 but the most common complaint I hear is it’s not as fun or challenging.

The exotic car market is soft in general right now... scud is down as well... economy is doing pretty good and I believe more people are putting their money into real estate and stock market at the moment.

Exactly. Which is why I bought my 16M. Good time to buy (maybe)? Also much more fun than buying another house or more stocks !

So why should Scud. owner's sell at a lower price so you can get a Scud.for a cheap price Dream on, 1600 Scud. where build back in 2008-2009 that 10 years ago , what you think how many is there left , so while that number keeps going down price's are going to go up give it time , supply demand :)

Do not forget the increasing supply of other supercars, the range of interesting alternatives to a Scud is significantly larger than in 2008/2009. Let's be realistic, it is admirable if the scud can keep the current price level.
