He's saying that it's the first matte speciale produced. He's saying that it makes the standard 458 look plain, but that his Scud is not overshadowed sitting next to it. I'm not a huge speciale fan in terms of styling (still a fan though). It seems too busy to me honestly. Amazing car though and hard to be critical of anything.
I hated the hood (front trunk lid) when the Speciale first came out, but it has grown on me. The Spec is the only car I would trade in my Scud for, assuming I was willing to part with the additional $$$ that would necessary to make that happen!
On an unrelated note, that's the first picture of a Huracan that I've seen that has made me have a second look. Did not like it at first but for some reason, this one looks really good.
It looks really nice in person. I saw the green one above in Monterey and loved it. Too bad I can't fit in it.

I parked my beautifully speced 458 next to the speciale, mine look very plain jane and dated. Don't try that if u have a 458 already.
Just sold my 2008 scud and waiting for my allocation for the Speciale. Funny you mentioned this but I am going to test drive a green Huracan at the dealership today.
Noticed the IPE logo on the Scud bonnet. Does IPE even have a system for the Scud? I've been banging on Armytrix's door for one but hell no they ain't gonna give the Scuds any love.
