speaking to Scud today at the concour (he lost :() and he wants to be el presidente so we can do away with poofter polishing as he reckons if you can't win with a brand new car he's gonna change the rules.

Gleggy and I were 2 of the judges and we said we could be bought but only Ray Saunders took the hint and handed over his wallet (thanks for the $100 Ray;)), naturally he won so all is back to normal in Qld :D

Seriously, I thought all the cars were winners as they all had the pony on the front so I make a terrible judge as I give top points for everything, Murray was mean :D he took off 1/2 points for being dirty, damn I thought that added to the character :D

But remember when you see Scud put his hand up for the presidency to vote for him as he will rule that only track days count for anything :D

I only took a couple of piccies and they were of Ray's 348 but the others didn't turn out.

You will have to ask Murray about the ornament as he did that one for me as I helped him out with some parts he needed for his 308, it was very nice of him and it does look brilliant, could even be a nice sideline for him as a lot of people liked the stylised look.

    oh yeah rock on

last time i rated a girl out-loud i acquired a scar in the shape of a Gucci handbag buckle on the back of my head. i guess after proclaiming my rating i shouldn't have muttered under my breath "on the Richter scale"

Money, what money? I deny everything! I don't even know anyone called Saunders, and even if there was a small financial compensation for my judging prowess, it certainly wouldn't be left behind the waste pipes of the Third wash basin, the Third, wash basin along in the mens room at central station now would it?

Well I must admit to being a very sick person when it comes to Ferrari. Moretti reminds me all the time of how very ill i've become. He says anal, well yes, fair in the judging, I hope, cruel very cruel but fair.
However top marks, (at least a 9.5 or 9.75) go to Karen and Sandy for the best contortions whilst being able to judge a category and stay perfectly balanced. If there was any loose change,or belly button lint under those seats or carpets these girls would have found it. It may be the only time you see two bums hanging out of a 355 at the same time! So if we have the privilage of this pair judging again, be warned boys, these girls are thorough.
All things aside it was a great day, more Ferrari are needed (you hear that John) more Ferrari, and then everybody benefits.
    Cheers MG

you loved it Murray when you saw one bum hanging out the 355 but thought all your Xmas's had come early when you saw the second bum :D

Was talking to someone this morning about a car (348 so it probably won't be that one!) but the numbers 550 and 575 were bandied about as cars we like and the bum is dropping out of them :)

Mr Lawford's 575 was a gorgeous car and truly looks like a modern day 250GTO with far more power and authority.

    Did Roger call you ?

Thanks for the pics, seems like a nice day. :)

I'm not a fan of that Challenge Stradale wannabe ( http://img298.imageshack.us/my.php?image=360modena6nb.jpg ) - if your going to try and copy the real thing then you might aswell go all the way with the changes.

I'm assuming the real one there is scuds?

two schools of thought on this, one is that there are so many 360s out there that you need to differentiate from the hoard and you like the looks of a Stradale but the 500k price tag is a little high so you take the features you like and put them on your car , then you've got Brendan's car :D

Scud's car is as close to the perfect road rally car without the rollbar you will get except that it has a deafening exhaust that would probably give you a headache by the end of the day's competition.

I must say the 575 turned out to be my fav car for the day even though the TR of Phil and Ailsa was sheer perfection for a car of it's age and usage, they never spare the car and yet it ALWAYS looks immaculate, they must spend their whole life cleaning that car.
