Sweet. Do you have a recommended professional installer in So-Cal and/or can you do installation up in San Jose ?

    Is it 100% plug & play for a 456M ?

    I have installers in L.A.
    Yes to 456M.
However, for both the 456 and 456M, I have not yet designed OEM style electrical connectors so you would need to cut the speaker connectors off, leaving about 3 inches of wire to the connector, then plug the connector back into the stock speaker. Save the stock speakers/stock connectors for when you sell the car. At any time in the future, you can just solder the 3 inches of wire you left on the stock connector, back onto the stock wiring and no one would be the wiser.

    Cool set up. Thank you!
How do the tweeter pods attach to the A-Pilar?
So you mount each crossover under each side of the dash splitting to the door speaker and the tweeter?

    All good questions.

Since the new triangle is an exact copy (inside and outside) of the original, it mounts the exact same way. There is a spring steel clip that goes into a square pocket on the inside of either triangle and snaps into place, holding the triangle secure. The rest is held in place by the rubber trim.

Personally, I would mount the crossovers inside each door. The best location is on the inside of the outer door skin, keeping it far enough away from the plane of the side window so moisture won't reach it (from rain or a car wash). I include industrial strength Velcro for this in all my door speaker kits (360/430/458/488/F8/F12/FF/612/812/Lusso/Quattroporte/Granturismo/Huracan/Aventador/McLaren/etc.).

Coincidentally the project I am working on after the last couple of slow drives in the rain where I could have used some good sound:(! It looks like a great/complete system, I would love to hear this installed somewhere. Is there anywhere where we could hear the system installed by any chance?

I'm working on a portable system that has the same speaker components that we can temporarily set up in your car so you can hear what the speakers sound like. The system can use the stock amp or a high-end amp so you can hear how much better the same speakers sound with high quality amplification. PM me and we can set up a meet.
