    Not sure of this is worthy enough to have its own thread, but it was pretty exciting for me none the less. I was driving down Forest Drive in Columbia yesterday when a new F430 Scud passed me. It had a new tag on it from NC and was beautiful! The sound was awesome. First time for me see a new Scud up close. I'm sure the driver thought I was a nut as I pulled up beside him and gave him the "I'm envious" thumbs up. He turned left on Trenholm Ave and got on it a little. What an amazing sound! If the owner is on here, sorry for the googly eyes, but you made my day. Here is the only pic I could manage to snap with my blackberry.

    Cool picture...I'm going to forward it to the owner of the car! I sold him the car from Foreign Cars Italia a couple months ago... It was a beautiful Scud!!! He'll get a kick out of the picture...

    Yes... he is in Columbia, SC. I copied and sent it to him today but I didn't hear back from him. He could be out of town right now. He's a really nice guy and he races a few of his cars!

    yes, i live in Columbia. This car has gotten little street time. Too much rain! i did have some fun at CMP a couple of Saturday's ago. 140 heading into the Kink! That's fun. Thanks for commenting on the car. I truly love it.

    For a moment I thought this may have been Austin's car. I think he's in the market for one.

    I work on Forest drive, but never drive my f355 or Quattroporte to work. I haven't seen (or heard) your car, yet; but I'm sure I will if you happen to frequent Forest Drive. Do you by chance meet at the Starbuck's on weekends. I don't know if the other guys still meet there or not; was just wondering.

    Let's meet at Rossa for an F1 viewing. Christian indicated he would open for us, and all the other items are in place. Rossa Corsa walls, flat screen, he is an enthusiast, protected parking, etc. See if you can find out what time the F1 races will be on Speed, or another Chanel, and let's work it around that.

    Rosso Corsa is the red international motor racing colour of cars entered by teams from Italy.

    Since the 1920s, Italian race cars of Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Lancia and later Ferrari and Abarth were (and often still are) painted in rosso corsa ("race red"). This was the customary national racing colour of Italy, as recommended between the World Wars by the organisations that later would become the FIA.

    Sorry I have not been more responsive guys. Times are busy these days at work. I have had the opportunity to track my car twice at CMP. Very nice. The car handles ok with street tires. I am used to driving a Cup car so street cars, even if a Ferrari, is a bit different with street tires. I do want to get more involved with the Ferrari Club events.

    Mega Gary. The Ferrrari Challenge is next weekend at Road Atlanta with FXX, 430 Challenge, and F1 Clineti there for the weekend. Also, Highlands coming up in May 29-31 to be announced this week. Don't forget the national meet at Road America as well in early August. But for the most important Columbia event-at your shop! Let's set up a date for a drop in...
