    Does anyone know what battery size Optima battery i need for my 2008 scud. I left the lights on and it died. I jumped it but wont keep a charge even after a long drive. Currently have it ona ferrari charger but i doubt it will work. thx in advance

    the Ferrari "charger" is actually a battery tender and will never recharge a flat battery

    have you tried an actual battery charger?

    Optima Red Top 34R.

    Replace it every 3 years regardless of condition to be safe.

    Or you could charge it up and test the capacity and then use the battery for another 2 years. Or use the Interstate 87R if I remember correctly, they are cheaper. They are better and use the mounting tangs on the bottom to engage the factory mounting points. Or you could use the search function and see bunches of posts on this topic. Just sayin'

    Sorry for the mis-information The battery is the interstate MTP-91. Looks like I have to subscribe to post more pics. I made some brackets that use the tabs on the bottom of the battery and some spacers that work really well. Good Luck!
