Scuderia fender shields - not the stickers, not the bolt-on type, not the glue type

I searched the archives but was not successful.

Many years ago I saw a beautiful, stick-on type fender shield that had that same sticky material on the back as the stuff that credit card companies use when they affix your new credit card to the paper it comes on. The surface of the shield when installed is a kind of jelly - not a hard material. Therefore the shield naturally curves to the shape of the fender upon installation.

That "sticky stuff" as used on the back of credit cards parts ways with the surface on which it is initially adhered to in a very graceful, mess-free, and non-detrimental way. I am imagining that the paint on a Ferrari would be undisturbed by such material behind the fender shield as opposed to some type of glue or sticky adhesion, which could present a nightmare upon removal.

Has anyone see those type shields also? I only saw them on a car once and for the life of me I cannot remember where.

If not, can someone recommend the next best thing?

I have seen them. They were on my car when I got it and the first thing I did was peel them off because of how junky they looked. I stuck one on my tool box. Here it is:

Sorry to hear you don't like them.

Could you please describe/ show us the back? Maybe post a picture? Was my description of the adhesive correct or is yours different?

    I happen to like these.

Here is the back. Your description of the adhesive is as good as any I would say. It has no stickiness feeling but totally sticks good and peels right off.

Thanks for your time and help with this!

Call me a whacko but I really like these. I hope someone can chime in and tell me what they are and how I might obtain them.

To remove sticky stuff nothing works better than Goo Gone.

Is this the so-called "3D resin" shield offered by Ferrari parts?
