Compare the car to the team-mates. Lewis vs Russell. Leclerc vs Sainz Max vs Perez Albon vs Latifi Bottas vs Zhou
Irrelevant anyway as there will be upgrades. The only question is what they will bring to the party. It needs to be something significant. Our season is riding on this.
By the way, I guess we are all a little in the doldrums after Imola and Miami. But remember, we are back from the wilderness. Binotto's team have got us from there to the front of the grid, we are competitive again. There is no reason not to believe in their programme.
I’m older now. And when your favorite team has not win since 2008 ( WCC) you have learned to be cautious.
I think Ferrari will win a few more GPs this year, and maybe beat Red Bull to the title (Leclerc). Probably the budget cap will prevent Red Bull to bring updates in the later part of the championship.
Our updates for Barcelona ( according to pg tech) : 1/ Revised floor to fix partially the porpoising. 2/Rebodied sidepods ( rear zone) for a better efficiency. 3/ No new FW and RW because they don’t need new ones if the new Floor works.
Filming day at Monza Friday. Wonder if they’ll check the upgrades with also a low DF set-up? Maybe they can also run the Barcelona set-up—not appropriate for Monza, of course—just confirm correlation of aero data?
Marko just said they will gain the last 4-5 kgs for Barcelona. Their engineering capacities are really impressive I have to admit. We better be perfect to beat them this year..
I'm confused on the wording either Marko or the reporter used. "we will be at our optimal weight". Does that mean the RBR is impossible to get to 798kg minimum weight or does he mean the actual minimum weight?
They have to work on porpoising in the straights and top speed. I´d say that Monza is ideal for that.
Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date Shows us what we already know. The Ferrari will look very good on tracks where top speed is not crucial
Optimal weight is 700 kg so you can add 98 kg of ballast really low at or around the longitudinal CG location
