problem is no one knows anything. It's all based of 1 single person starting a rumor and the self important dickheads with a twitter account or perhaps even a writers credit on a F1 news site don't want to miss out on any clicks so they all run the same story that someone invented.

Yes some of these people are correct in some of their "inside scoops" but that's only because once you predict just about every single thing happening, you'll likely be correct on a few of them eventually.

 

Lots of new pictures of the updated Ferrari floating around. I found this one interesting.

It appears they have smoothed out and potentially reduced the height of the tunnels, but have lowered the floor edge that is infront of the floor stay. Plus the big gap will certainly play a role with the airflow around the diffuser. Perhaps improving the expansion, or maybe helps seal the area and/or reduces the turbulence from the rear tires.

Any time they play with the height of the floors, you have to wonder if porpoising will be an issue. TBD.

He's not wrong. A Ferrari win was possible, just not likely and it didn't happen. It's possible that Charles will lap the whole field at Monaco!

Ferrari could switch to Red Bull’s F1 suspension concept for Hamilton’s arrival
Ferrari’s acceptance that upgrades are bringing diminishing returns has prompted suggestions it may elect for a major change of direction with its 2025 Formula 1 car for Lewis Hamilton’s arrival.

Sources have suggested that Ferrari’s designers have understood some key aspects that would deliver gains for the 2025 car and that may make a big difference in that tight fight with Red Bull and McLaren.

One area of interest is that, after years of doing its own thing, Ferrari could be poised for a switch to pull-rod front suspension – with an idea of getting ahead of the game on this aspect considering it would likely make the switch in 2026 anyway.

Carlos Sainz says he appreciates Williams boss James Vowles pushing like mad to get him, but insists he is not ready to decide on his Formula 1 future just yet.

“Right now, my head is too focused on every weekend that we're doing. Weekend in, weekend out, I'm fighting for podiums or wins. So it's very difficult to put your mind in the future when you have such an important weekend coming up all the time.

“I'm going to need some time to sit down with my management, with myself, have a conversation with myself and then decide where I want to go. But right now, there's nothing decided.”

Slight OT
I’m visiting Maranello today and the Galleria Ferrari.
Something obvious caught my eyes even more, road and racing cars are way too big nowadays..
A 250 LM or F2004 are just spot on with size.
Don’t understand deciders even more .

Ps : Montana restaurant is just fantastic

Antipasti misti ( prosciutto crudo, melone, mozzarella) for the starter
Then a mix of two kind of pasta (absolutely stunning)
And a tiramisu as a dessert
Espresso
Everything was subtle and tasty.
People working in the restaurant very kind and serviables ( very different let’s say in Paris or French Riviera)
All in all a very pleasant experience

Ps : Fred Vasseur was there too ( no kidding)
Smiling all around..
I was wondering talking to him about Montréal disaster but i was too happy to spoil my happiness today ..
