I'm a member of the club in Philly. I was thinking the same thing. If there is interest I'll find out more about getting one registered. however I know there is some travel cost to Italy for meetings etc...

conversation if we ask how we can improve the club we have. Not everyone's wishes can be met but I think the infrastructure is there to evolve what is already available in Atlanta. The FCA is so ego free in Georgia that I believe we can continue to share and enjoy these great cars with out competing groups. Just my humble opinion after seeing it happen elsewhere. Not intended to hurt anyone's feelings.

My feelings are hurt - I have a huge ego!

I joined the Scuderia club, as they do get Paddock admission from time to time - otherwise its not really much of anything else. I agree with Will, we can do more locally... just need more and more participation.

More to the point- I agree with Will. We have a decent little club in town. I would like to see how we can make that better! If people want to join the Scuderia Club-More power to ya! Just would hate to see us get splintered apart.

Growing our club in Atlanta require participation in the events. Bi-monthly dinner ( this weekend April 23rd ), Corso Coffee ( Last Saturday of each month) FoA sponsorship of the Rides to Remember ( June 4th ). Its so important to be involved and support your club with recommendations on where or when to have an event. Its not just about two guys planning events. It's an entire club of people wanting to do stuff together and enjoy the Ferrari's and the friendships the evolves from it.

at least you guys do stuff. the Lotus Club hardly has any participation to events any more.. the events the Lotus club has are monthly drives in the mountains.. guys with older cars like me dont want to drive 100 mph in the mountains for 8 hrs.

its more of a driving club than anything but its mostly lack of particapation from club members than anything.

you gusy at least do stuff.

I arranged 3 race shop tours last year and only a few people came. sad. not like the old days.

I hear ya'... I'm new in town, so I'll keep quiet on things local, but back in CA it somewhat turned this way with the Fcar group, as well. I love Ferrari, talking about the cars, looking at them, sharing stories, etc., etc. Driving 100+ on public streets (when I'm the slowest car in the group in my GT4) only guarantees *I'm* the one who draws the CHP's attention at the back of the pack - just like the lone gazelle when the cheetah approaches the pack.

    No thanks... ;)
