For Sale Scuderia Ferrari F1 2000 race-used crankshaft

Hello Tifosi and F-C friends. I'm selling some of my most cherished pieces from my Ferrari Formula 1 collection, starting with something special:

Ferrari F1 2000 race engine crankshaft: Schumacher/Barrichello

The ultimate conversation piece and the heart of the world championship cars that would take Ferrari to the Constructor's Championship and continue to provide records for Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello. An instant conversation piece that attracts attention wherever it is placed.

This was a race-run crankshaft from the Tipo 049 V-10 engine, likely removed from the car (Chassis 198) after the engine failure Michael Schumacher suffered in the 2000 Monaco Grand Prix. Stunning visual testament to the forces at work is evident as the gear end of the crankshaft was sheared from the crank, resulting from the connecting rod failure that retired the car. This is a remarkable and special piece of Ferrari Formula 1 history and is striking to behold in person. Chassis 198 was later sold by RM Sotheby's with a restored engine in 2014 for $1.8M.

Purchased directly from Ferrari when made available in 2008, this 2000 Albero (crankshaft) motore includes Ferrari's custom made carbon fiber display stand with plexiglass mounting legs, a beautiful and heavy Italian made aluminum "flight case" for storage and transportation, and a signed Certificate of Authenticity from Scuderia Ferrari in original folder with Ferrari ribbons.

This is obviously a special piece not made available for sale to the general public, and a remarkable historical artifact from the championship 2000 Scuderia season. The crankshaft and display base are about 25 lbs and the flight case is an additional 30 lbs so will be packed appropriately and shipped via FedEx for safe transit.
