I'm rehabbing / painting my garage
thought this would be cool on the wall, maybe 3-4 feet wide.
I'm not a master painter, so free-painting it is totally out of the question
What would be the best way to get this image on to the wall (and not too expensive!) ?

There are a bunch of make your own poster resources on the web. If you want it painted you could just borrow/buy/rent an overhead projector, trace the design, then paint it in, masking and spraying where you can.

One of those online resources may not reproduce something of that nature.(copyright) A local banner place might take it on. Let us know what you wind up doing?

what I've done in the past is take the picture to kinkos and have them make a clear transfer of the picture (a copy on clear plastic)and then put it on a projector,it'll be prefect that way

Hey Mike, I would post an ad on craigslist in your area to get a local airbrush artist to paint it for you. It will look amazing and shouldn't cost you a whole lot since it's a rather simple design. A good artist will also colour match it to the rest of the wall which would look nice.

    Good luck!

    Good idea.
I was also considering trying to find an art student (Northwestern U is reasonably close), or Loyola (not really that far away).
