    Folks,

    Anyone know if

    1. you can install a regular f430 passenger seat into a scud (and)
    2. are there LATCH points behind the seat on the firewall of a scud

    Interested in getting a scud, and taking my 3 year old with me

    You don't have to install a "regular" F430 seat in a Scud for attachments for a child seat, the OEM race buckets in Scuds already have them.

    Scuds also have a latch point behind the passenger seat in the firewall.

    Thanks - ok. The diagram on the parts site said no child seat in scud seat that’s what I was going by

    And, there is even a key activated switch in the passenger dash area/door jamb to turn off the pass airbag. Good luck! Hope you find a good one soon!

    i know US sport seats have a hole in the middle of the top passenger seat back for the tether to pass through but I didn't know Scud sport seats had lower anchors

    I keep ear plugs in the car and always use them. Only change is an SLine X-Pipe to my Scud.

    You shouldn’t have any problems with car seat in the Scud. Just make sure it’s narrow enough to lay flat on seat bolsters. I special ordered an EU Recaro Sport Hero 2 or something which was the OEM option and after getting it I’m pretty sure that wasn’t necessary - nothing special just flat and narrow enough to fit securely. And don’t forget to use the airbag cutoff switch. My kids have a blast and ear muffs are a wise choice for the little ones.
