I see two different radio options for the Scuderia:

Radio / Nav / Bluetooth and Integrated Radio / CD / Bluetooth for an extra $3k. What is the difference between the two? Does either one have the subwoofer on the rear wall?

Which of the two radio options has the subwoofer? Or do they both? The iPod was a separate option.

That's strange. On my Scuderia price list, there there isn't an option to add a nav. The "Integrated Radio/CD and Bluetooth system (BLUC)" is standard for North America. The F430 pricelist has two "radio" options priced $3K apart (BLUC and NAVC). The difference is the addition of the nav for the extra $3K. In both cases you get the center speaker pod.

The nav option isn't what you would be used to (ie: there isn't a large LCD screen with a moving map). I think you'd be happier with a third party head unit with a flip up screen or a portable unit if you want a nav. If you browse the Scuderia pictures posted in this section, you will see that all Scuderia's delivered with factory radio's have the center speaker pod between the seats.

WOW! Your NAVC is more expensive than BLUC, while my list shows NAVC as no charge and BLUC as $3092. Too weird.

I can't comment on the US options list, but here in Canada, there is only one choice: BLUC which is standard equipment. There isn't a NAVC on my options list.

I assume that the NAVC is the new navigation head unit that started showing up in '07 F430's. If you do a search, you can find a thread with some pictures. Best to go to your local dealership and and have a look at a 430 with this option.

Remove the air conditioning panel to gain access to the nuts securing the radio pod.

To remove the speakers behind the seats, pry off the speaker grill with a screwdriver, remove the speaker from the housing, and unbolt the speaker housing. There are two slight indentations on the wall after the speaker is gone, but they are not noticeable since the material is dark. Use two plastic caps (available in hardware stores) to cover the screw holes on the wall.

Unlike the F430, the Scuderia does not have any speakers in the door panels of the base car. If you have a radio, you have the big boom box between the seats.

I ordered BLUC in my Scuderia and got the radio with the subwoofer between the seats and two speakers below each side of the dash.

If you pick any radio option, the subwoofer between the seats will always be provided.

If you don't want the subwoofer, you have to omit the radio option.
