I think it was a big wig at Forbes Magazine. At least that's what the seller told me.

Good guy or not, it didn't go the the email address that I usually post publicly on FC, which is a gmail account. It went to my work account. Searching, I could only find one instance where I posted the work address which it went to publicly, and I spelled it out completely phonetically, in a post 6 months ago.

My work account email is my primary address listed with this forum, but when I get emails thru this forum they are addressed with an FC user name and designated as being emailed thru FC.

Now, if someone really wanted to email me directly, they could have gone to my home page listed in my profile and found the address there, I guess.

Where did the guy buy the list? And if there's a list publicly for sale, how come this is the first time I've ever gotten such an email at that particular address?

Regardless, I think it borders on a violation of the FerrariChat Terms of Use.

I am talking about the Modena email, I didn't recieve the shields email.
