You could call this month's dinner "Ferraris near Fruitville". Is the Buick special edition going to make it there?

Just because a good looking German is driving it, with some older balding gentlemen sitting next to her, does not make it a "Limited Edition". :)

Nice crowd of Ferraris! Did you guys make it in time for the early bird special? How many of the Ferraris include the easy lift auto chair???

The information below is from the website of the manufacturer, link from the Scuderia Sarasota website.

    How To Use Seat Assist:

    Step 1
As you sit down on the Uplift Seat Assist, it eases you gently into a seated position. Step 2
To get up, simply shift forward and begin to stand. The lifting mechanism activates automatically. Step 3
This provides a gentle and stable lift up from the chair or Ferrari on the left coast of Florida. A very popular option for the Scuderia Sarasota members, and is offered at a 20% discount upon joining the club.

    Oops, forgot :)

    Just 1

    Bill,

You are not going to beleive this but....

The Euro 308Qv that belonged to the late John Pretto (I am currently preparing it for sale) had a passenger seat that did just what your post jokes about.

John who passed away a last year at the the age of 86 and his wife Jean drove a 100 miles round trip for every dinner (in their Ferrari). Jean who had a stroke several years which limtied her mobilty so instead of giving up the Ferrari John designed and installed a lifting passenger seat so Jean could continue to be Johns "Naviguessor".

It should be mentioned that Jean and her son brought the Ferrari to dinner last night on the same day that her daughter passed away. Jean wanted to be with her friends at Scuderia Sarasota.

Glad to hear the Prettos are still active. I guess Seinfeld's girlfriend was right that there is a grain of truth in every joke. Condolences for your friend's loss.
