John congrats. The SE30 in Jota spec if sorted and tuned right IMO is just so bad ass. Driving the beast with its 600 HP+ and open exhaust RWD you immediately know this car could never be manufactured for regular production. Not much out there can match it on any level.

I actually went to go and see this very car about 8 years ago at a dealership outside of Frankfurt. The price at that time was €130.000. It was built without factory direct participation but there was an interest by Lamborghini works and they did follow this modification. The upgraded power was reported on the modified registration of the vehicle. It looks like a very neat build. At the end of the day it is a modded Special Edition though.

Correct, the works were performed by the ceritified Lamborghini workshop Hoecker in Landau /Pfalz in Germany. They made mounted in total two kits. One of this particular one, the other on a silver car. And yes, the factory was interested in that kit too. Some factory workers came to the workshop in Germany to see the work on the car itself. The real reason why the kit was created was that the Jota kit was not road legal. That's why the owner of #056 was looking for an alternative.

Ahh, thanks for filling in the missing info Leo. I was actually supposed to go on a road test that day but since it was raining it was decided wisely to cancel ....

We were recently invited to the Amelia Island Concours D'Elegance with our 1994 Lamborghini Diablo SE30 JOTA. Car #30. The car presented itself very well but there were a ton of small details that I wanted to perfect before showing.

I promised myself that I would never become obsessive compulsive like my father, but the common brown/yellowing of the Carbon Fiber was driving me crazy. I decided to remove all of the Carbon Fiber to be restored back to its original specification. It was very costly and it took almost 2 months, but I am thankful that we were able to remove the old yellowed resin and re-clear all of the original carbon in correct factory matte finish.

The 50% of the SE30 interior panels are affixed by black plastic screws, these screws have a "one-time use," and many SE30s plastic screws show signs of use or wear. We decided to order 50+ of each of the factory interior screws from Lamborghini, (amazingly the factory still has these!) and carefully reinstall them.

These are the final results of our 3 month interior restoration!

Very very nice. Were you able to maintain the cf weave? Not really visible from the door picture. Did the car come with the original steering wheel as well?

The Carbon Fiber was not touched, only the top coat of resin. Completely original.

Car #30 was made special for Mr. Righini who specified the "30th Anniversary number." The car was delivered new at Automobili Lamborghini SPA and serviced at the factory during his ownership. The factory installed the unique steering wheel, racing brakes and JOTA kit specific to this car. Mr. Righini, the JOTA and his F1 car were featured in the 1995 Lamborghini Yearbook.

Thank you, I actually almost teared up during filming. While the business can be very tough, it's a blessing to have the opportunity to be working with incredible passionate collectors and amazing automobiles.

John, just do us a favor. Don't let this car end up being another "Regret sale" on a VinWiki video. :D

: ) I recently turned down a crazy offer from a Spanish Rally Driver and BMW collector. It will be staying in the family. The SE30 JOTA, in Purple on Blue Alcantara was always my dream car. In a way, it is a big part of the inspiration of everything I do... the DNA of the company, etc. The timing was perfect, the stars aligned and even my 6 month pregnant wife told me to buy the car.

    More pictures please John!
I dont think there is very much info on the SE30 Jota online.
It would be great to document the fine details that make this car special.

    Maybe a couple videos?

I will dig up the original Lamborghini factory parts manual shots that were sent to me by our friend Lemacc. One more photo for today!

As the JOTA kit was originally intended for GT Class racing, I felt we should photograph the car in its "natural habitat." : )

Never sell it it’s irreplaceable. The SE30 Jota is a classic. One the rarest Lambos ever made. Gorgeous, light, low, wide, loud, rwd w/manual shift and over 600 hp. Need I say more?

1st production SE30 available? There's no pictures of the plaque, but working back to an Instagram account linked by this dealer claims it's car #001 of 150 & the description does list "Brivio N'1 Europe" on the plaque, which according to lp112, is there.

I believe this particular car was already mentioned in this thread a few years back. This SE30 is number 020/150. The first one destined to Europe. It was highly modified externally and internally (and IMO in very poor taste). It was brought back pretty much to original specs but certain mods could not be fully repaired. When I saw it still with the mods, some panels were misaligned.

It does have the intro livery, purple 30/blue alcantara.

Interesting. So why does the plaque signify #001 of 150 if it's chassis #20? Just oversight on the factory?

Edit* Should have done more searching beforehand on the discussion regarding this car a couple years ago. Looks like it was oversight on the factory's part calling it #001 even though a user said chassis #001 wasn't finished til' 1996. Just a lot of uncertainty it seems sadly.

Despite all the mystery, the classic purple w/ blue alcantara is still magnificent.

plaque says 1 Europa ...like first delivered to Europe

we have seen at least 2 different plaques on this car and many said this plaque was made by first owner (Brivio)

car, as already said, is indeed Nr 20, as you can see from VIN and numbers on the body
