I was fortunate to come across a complete set of SE30 rims and center caps in perfect condition with the exception of one front rim where the O.Z Racing, Magnesium and Special Edition scripts are faded (probably from diligent over-cleaning). These rims are NLA in Lamborghini.

Being magnesium, first I had all four rims checked by a specialized shop for any damage and made certain they were true.

On the two rears and one front with the perfect scripts there were minor scuffs but no scratches or curb rash so I wet sanded the clear-coat with 1,500 grain paper (very lightly over the scripts) and had them clear coated by a local paint shop. The result is spectacular! They look wet!

Wanting a perfect complete set I am having the script templates made. I have been able to perfectly match the green/gray color of the scripts - I am still in the trial phase though - the characters and character dimensions are similar but not yet a perfect match while the color is identical. I did a trial with non catalyzed paint so it will come off with rubbing compound. You can notice from the first picture that the Special Edition script is below the old faded text.

Once the scripts are finalized the rim clear coat will be sanded, the colored scripts will be applied with catalyzed pant and then the entire rim will be clear-coated.

If any owners would like to have a kit of templates and color for all four rims just PM me.

    Alex

Those are worth a small fortune..

Make sure they dont get mounted to a car with standrad lug nuts, you have to use titanium bolt lugs.
