Hey guys, my first post here. I'm looking for a Ferrari 348 TS or TB in good condition. I live in Hawaii and don't have many opportunities to go car shopping on the mainland. I've been watching eBay and various other listings, but it would help me stay clear of the scams if anybody here could refer me to a car or two. I like Red, Black, and Yellow on the 348 but would consider about any color for the right price since I can always repaint it.

I like the forum you have here. I've been an active member of www.s2ki.com, which is the equivalent of this site for Honda S2000 owners, for the past couple of years. One more thing, if there are any 348 owners in Hawaii I'd like to meet with one some time to look over the car in person, I'll buy lunch.

    Later, Nate.

It's not that we're ignoring you Nate... it's just that I don't think there's many people from Hawaii on here.

Maybe try posting in one of the general West Coast forums, see if anyone can recommend the dealers that are a) reputable and b) would be able to sort out shipping.

Visited Hawaii about 15 years ago, one of the hottest places I've ever been! Great island though (Ohahu).

    Good luck!

Ok, thanks anyway. I can ship cars back and forth myself, I just need to find one. It doesn't have to be from a dealer, I'll buy from a private seller as well.

If you thought Honolulu was hot you should try Singapore during the "warm" months sometime, it's only a couple of degrees above the equator.

Oh, I have met Tom Selleck and I know a guy who owns a 308 on Oahu, is that good enough? :)

i thought it was hard finding one in the UK, never mind 'magnum island'. do they have a local 'club' by any chance?

I don't know, I found a website about a club in Hawaii, but it hadn't been updated since 2001.

The Ferrari Owner's Club is pretty active in HI. Try going to www.ferrariownersclub.org. I am sure that they will have some contact info for you.

    Ciao
