Lap belt motors won't retrack belts. One stuck forward, the other back. Any fix known? Thanks
The lap belts have been replaced with a harness one in mine. These things seem very promblematic. Had the same problem with the shoulder belt, but it started working again on the driver side. They told me to pull the wire when it is in the back position and just use it like that instead of it moving around. However, the real trick or question was, how do you get it back when it already died in the forward position? Hopefully someone knows. Soon as I get a chance, I will disconnect mine and hopefully catch it in the right position. In a day or so with movement and such, yours may starting working again on its own. Behind the seat I found a wire that is tied together on the side that still moves, and a red one under the carpet (saw it through hole in the carpet around where the sear bolt goes, near the emergency brake running by the back bracket bolt of the seat. If someone can gives more feedback on this, would help us both. a) How do you get the latch for the buckle to return manually. b) What wire exactly do you cut it loop to get it to do what you want?
