I’m just back from a 2,000 miles euro road trip to the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart and the RUF factory at Pfaffenhausen in my 1987 RUF BTR. I now have a very bad back!

I have a Ferrari FF which is very comfortable. I’ve got the opportunity to switch to a F12, but I can travel long distances and comfort is important to me.

my FF has heated and ventilated seated with separate lumbar and bolster adjustment buttons. The F12 has less adjustment (see photo). I’m not sure if this is normal on the more sporty car?

Does anyone on here have experience of the difference air similarly in terms of comfort between these seats please?

We have both cars. My wife (5’3) prefers the F12 seats as the squab length is shorter. I’m fine (5’11) in either car.

In terms of adjustability, you need to find an F12 with the memory pack which is an optional extra and not available on the carbon race seats. Also note that the F12 is not available with seat ventilation .

ANOpax, thank you for your reply.
I was flirting with the idea of changing to a F12 without the memory pack and extra adjustability. But, having just completed a 2,000 mile Eurotrip in a 1987 Porsche 930, I am SO grateful for the comfort that my FF seats provide. They are similar to the ones in your photo but they also have seat ventilation and cuoio natural leather.

You’re welcome. Our FF also has the ventilated seats and they’re great in the summer or road trips to southern Europe.
The photo I posted is of an F12 which I found on-line as ours is still in winter storage. If you compare it to the seat shape of your FF, you’ll notice that the FF’s seat squab is definitely longer.

Aside from the seat comfort question, if we had to keep only one Ferrari, it would be the FF and not the F12. Nothing else on the market can match the FF’s range of abilities (and I don’t think another car will be made which can exceed the FF in all its abilities). The F12 is bonkers compared to the FF but simply not as versatile or well rounded.

I'm jealous of the talk of heated and ventilated seats in the FF! I have a 2012 that is basic in terms of options. Beautiful, strong, and fun -- but damn frosty in New England! I have lots of vehicles, but this is the only one that has no heated seats. A heated steering wheel would be nice, too.

One of the best things to come from a first Ferrari is figuring out what to look for in a second Ferrari...

Can't have heated seats without the heated wheel. Just not cricket.

did Ferrari offer a heated steering wheel with the GTC4Lusso? They didn’t with the FF.

Sorry, no idea. Though, heated wheel is a must in a luxury car.

Mine is comfort Daytona with the same controls. Admittedly I had the car about 3 years before I found that seat heat dial! I didn't realize the car even had it until I spun it trying to adjust it back after a service visit.
