Hi, I just got my first "F" car. 1988 328 GTS with 16,700 miles, all original. Kick in the butt and lives up to the hype. The seats are near perfect. I'd like to protect them. Where do I get good covers that breath and don't choke the leather if you know what I mean? Thanks in advance for the response(s).

The best way to protect the seats (IMO ) is to keep them clean & feed the leather - and then avoid wearing jeans when you drive the car. The leather is very hard wearing & as long as you avoid scratching it it will last. The other thing is to be careful when getting in & out the car - it tends to be the outside bolster of the driver's seat that takes most punishment. No seat cover is going to lessen the impact of that.

Lastly, if there is any play or movement in the back rest, take the seat out the car & tighten up the small allen head bolts on the mechanisms - six on the outside side of the seat, three on the inside.
