I just completed 1600 miles in 4 days in my 308 at Silver Summit - Classic Car Adventures. It was amazing to drive it in some of the best roads in Colorado and Utah. But, with the heat on a few days, the seats were getting rather sticky. I plan to do a few more drives this summer and trying to see if there is a seat cover with some kind of fabric that will look decent but give me a little more summer comfort for these 8 hour plus days of driving in various temperatures.

Thoughts/Advice? I will remove the covers for shows etc etc and probably when i am not doing those long hauls in the summer heat.

I put covers on mine the instant I recovered the seats in 2002. Drive with them on, off for display, Seats still look brand new after over twenty years

These guys made me a set. They don't list them, but if you call they will make them. I did leather on the sides and vented microfiber down the center.

    Probably so.

I had a black pair, sold them on ebay and bought these from ebay. That was in about 2001.

I have a new unused set I bought at auction at the FCA nationals in 2018. They are my emergency backup when these finally die.

I was thinking of making a pattern and having some sets made if there was enough interest. Very hard to find and pricey if you do find a vintage pair.

I missed out on set in Las Vegas a year ago or so.

I have the same ones. I just use them for traveling if I'm displaying the car. Normally, I use thicker sheep skin seat covers which have been used on the car since new. My bolsters look like new and have almost no creases.

I went to Pep Boys and bought the $20 cheap Neoprene seat covers with a red stripe down the middle. They work fine for me.

I have the same mint set in tan denim too.

Both tan with black piping and black with white piping was available.

They were a US dealer accessory back in the day from what I remember sold in the 1980's.

I have Ferrari original red satin seat covers on mine keep them on all the time unless I'm doing a show or something like that, keeps the wear on the seats down especially on the bolster on the driver side, very easily machine washable in cold water and hang dry if they get dirty, I do have an extra set if you're interested.

Yes, those are the modern equivilent and came out many years later.

Designed to match the elastic satin red car cover that was also a much later accessory, they also had a red satin steering wheel cover that usually came with the seat covers too.
