I know the racing seats can be sized medium, large, etc.. But what about the standard seats? I'm asking because the standard ones in my 458 are a lot narrower than my 360 spider. The bolsters at my mid thigh are rock hard and fairly uncomfortable. The Daytona's in the 360 are so much softer and comfortable. I bought the 458 about 4 months ago and have put just about 9,000 miles on it; took it from Hammond LA to Cape Canaveral and back and I felt them the whole way. Granted I'm 6'7" and 235 and not the guy the folks in Maranello are designing the seats around, but I don't see how my 360 seats in the same style can be that much wider.

Other than that minor gripe, THE most amazing car I've driven. Daily driver for me as well, so if there IS a large standard seat option, I'd like to get them.

Only way would be to have full electric seats where the bolsters can be adjusted.

So there IS a full power seat option with greater control than the power options I have now? Should be a nice chunk o change to order either that or the large race seat through the dealer. ;)

Another option would be to work with a QUALIFIED upholstery shop to resculpt the seats on the existing seat frame and consistent with the existing materials.

There is a shop local to us that specializes in interior restoration of high-end cars (many/most Ferrari), they do some pretty amazing work with OEM materials (eg. color-matched Poltrona leather). They do the interior repairs for a couple local F dealers.

hopefully there is someone near you since you'll want to "butt check" the comfort

I have the full electric seat where the side bolsters could be adjusted inward and thus a tighter fit.

At its outmost position with no inflation I imagine it would be the same as your electric seat. I don't know for sure because I have not sat in a standard electric seat.

You might want to sit in a full electric seat to know for sure.

Forget about large racing seat. It feels a little tighter than electric seat with bolsters at maximum inflation.

In any event, a new seat would cost you an arm and a leg about 20k each.
