I have a 2000 360 with the standard seats (power operated). Has anyone ever heard of the side bolsters which are operated by a hand crank (i.e. not power operated) not widening up? On my drivers seat it seems the bolster does not open up as much as the passengers side. I can tighten it and loosen it (the sides move), but I don't think it's loosening up as much as the passenger side does.

Fortunately I can fit in the seat- kind of snugly (and I kind of like it that way in the 360), but I'm curious if there is something that could be sticking or blocking the seat sides internally from opening up..anything anyone has ever heard of?

I love this car by the way!

No one else has noticed anything like this? Guess it's good that I fit in, but someone wider than me would want to widen the seat more but it doesn't seem to go wider...

Standard or Daytona seat side bolsters are both manually adjustable via the turn knob. Driver and passenger seat bolsters should open/close an equal amount.

I have the knob too (everything else is power)- it seems the driver's doesn't open as much as the passengers side
