I need to have some foam added to the lumbar area of a Mercedes seat. Shouldn't be too tough as they are basic seats. Does anybody have a shop in the Ft. Lauderdale area they would recommend? Thanks in advance.

Great lead. I stopped and talked to him. He's going to do the car Monday.

    Thanks again.

One side note, I went to three shops to get estimates on adding some lumbar padding. There was one thing that was very consistant. All of them had Roll Royce convertibles. Phil had about 4 of them. All that leather when it starts to go south is an ugly situation.

had a really bad experience with gold coast. i had daytona style seats made by GAHH, gold coast intalled them ,ever since I have a had a metal bar up my butt! they said it was the seat from gahh, nonetheless, had to go somehwere else to fix the problem. caveat emptor!

Man, I don't want to wind up with "a metal bar up my butt". I think I'd sell the car if that was going on.

I'll be cautious as is always the case in South Florida. Get two bids and three references on everything. Thanks for the heads up.

Hopefully, you're in Aspen. I saw the snow report.
