I was thinking about getting these and moving the seatbelts where they belong. How difficult would it be? Then I could delete that dang mouse!

Are you looking to delete the shoulder floor mouse and separate lower belts and adding a single shoulder/lap seat belt kit? Where would this mount?

Where the 89s had them. And I guess the 355s have as well, that's what it came from. Pull the rig from under the seat and mount it behind the headrest, in front of the rear window.

So the roller goes up top in those covers, the 89 had a guide on top of the seat and the bottom is just bolted into the frame. The snap would float with a stopper mid way to strap through the shoulder and lap using 1 belt to the receiver right?

That's the way I would like to set it up! I've never been under that cover but I'm sure the mount points are still there. I read somewhere here about some guy who did something like this and even removed the mouse track all together. He used the 355 setup. As I remember the seat guide was only used on the spider.

I just did this with my 90 348. Found the interior parts for sale on Ebay Germany, used 355 belts and 355 seats without too much issue. Car is at Bradan for service, if it ever stops snowing and they can road test it, I will post some photos when it gets back. I hated the mouse belts, drove me crazy.

(you dont have to use 355 seats, just liked them better)

Those seats are beautiful BTW. I wouldn't want to change out the seats though. I seen a thread recently where someone swapped the buckle hookups and added the little slider part to the strap. This made it work from the center. I just think it would look more factory and standard if it came from the outside. I will see if I can find the thread.

Nevermind, the 3 point conversion would make more since, since you can always go back. Plus all the parts cost about 20.00 bucks, much more economical! Looks pretty simple to do as well..
