Gary, Do you realize what kind of attention I would get with even a tiny Ferrari acoutrement slapped on a Caddy? If I was certain that it would be taken in fun, I would do it in a flash. Then I would be driving a Ferrarillacarado and there ain't any of those around here, that's for sure. Just think what the next club drive would look like with a Ferraillacarado leading the pack.....well, trying like hell to catch up. One of these days when I grow up I'm going to have a Marenello.....dream on Ol' Bob
I have a VERY prominent SF shield on the back of my BMW! I certainly wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong idea that I favor the Williams/BMW F1 team. I got a couple comments today at Seattle BMW, where I was getting some services performed.
I think I will paint the Caddy British Racing Green, put a Prancing Horse on the fender, an Alfa shield on the trunk, an MG Octagon on the door, and a big AH on the hood since I have owned examples of all of these but the Ferrari. This Caddy was a gift to us and it is a special vehicle. It is the only car I have owned that when you go through a turn on a road that has lumps, the hood ornament traces a vertical figure eight and the lane in which your driving jumps from side to side. Anybody want to buy a 1996 Cadillac Eldorado ? Low miles, leather, nice odor, and lots of automatic messages that flash gibberish all the time. I'll make you a deal that you can probably refuse.
Red 575M pulling into Carillon Point this morning. Perhaps the same guy I saw a few weeks ago and same guy that traded in his black/black 360 spider.
Kuzi and I were out in Magnolia, downtown and Alki today in his 360 spider....he was helping me get my Ferrari "fix" as I wait for my 328GTS.... Great sounds from the 360. Really like the suspension feel on the 360, much more compliant than a 328 or even 348.
