Followed a monaco blue 355 spider (navy top) to work this morning. He got on it once we hit the ramp... oh that sound! Orgasmic... well, almost!

I've lived in the Seattle area since I was 4, I go college in AZ now. When I was in HS the CEO of infospace.com lived in my friend's condo in Kirkland. He owned an F50 and I've seen it up close and personal in the garage and I've seen him driving it around Kirkland a bunch of times. It's amazing how much attention that car attracts.

This was like 4 years ago, I bet he's sold the F50 now because infospace.com went bankrupt.

I saw that F50 at several Ferrari events.

It had a FULL Tubi exhaust system. Tubi headers with polished stainless straight pipes all the way out the back. No cats or mufflers.

    What a sound!

The owner sold it after the InfoSpace stock took a gigantic nose dive.
He also had a Momo edition Lambo Diablo and some other exotics too.

Wasn't there a video floating around back in the days of him doing a runway high speed run? Something like reaching 180mph before shutdown?

that was jean-remy facq. He still lives in kirkland, but was ever the ceo of infospace -- he was the chief systems architect. Last time i talked to him he still owned the viper wih the... uh, interesting hood art (actually it was done by chris lassen himself)

the 180mph video was taken at an event in nevada whereby many a person is invited to have a police escorted "how fast can you go?" run aroudn the state sponsored by their state patrol.

    remy currently works at microsoft.

Yeah, I forgot about the Momo Diablo. That was a sick car. He also had a few E36 Bimmers for daily drivers. I swear he had like 15 reserved parking spots at that condo.

It was nice seeing so many Ferrari's on a possibly rainy day. Looking for the details and pics on the Lemay Museum Outing. Nice meeting and seeing all your rides finally.
