Thanks for the link. It sure brought back great memories as '58 was the first year I went to Sebring as a teenager. A buddy of mine and I drove over from St. Pete. The road going in was two lanes, the right hand lane was for race traffic and the left hand lane were for the race cars being driven to the track from the various places downtown or the fair grounds. I still have the record of "The Sounds of Sebring 1958." Phil Hill was the first car around in his 3.0 liter Ferrari and what a beautiful sound it made as he shifted up through the gears on the front straight.
