    Anyone going over to Sebring to watch the Ferrari Challenge races? I am not sure you can get into the paddock area but I am hoping that Midway Blvd is open because the area at T17 exit is awesome then go across behind the hotel at T7 is really good too.

    I have not seen anything about any Ferrari owners activities or ability to get passes or tickets into the race track itself.

    Ooh thanks for the heads up but you are correct cannot find any info on admission to the track

    Midway is technically a street...so if that is open then you can get to t17 exit, front straight, t1-7 turns. I called the track and they said the Ferrari Challenge races are a private Ferrari event, always have and Ferrari does not want anyone around watching.

    I know the track really well and some places to sneak around to view out side of the track. I just want to get out of my house, have a cool destination to drive to and take a peak at these cars racing for an hour or so. I was going to drive my car over but will probably take my Jeep instead for better viewing.

    Hmmm, 3 hours each way with no guarantee of getting in may be too much of a gamble for me.

    Going there to pick up a car today.

    I was told yesterday you won't be allowed in the track without a preapproved Covid test. I'm sure you could watch from outside streets but don't plan on getting in the track unless you are on the list.

    Yep, don’t bother.

    Unless you are registered you aren’t getting in. Spoke with the guys working the main gate while I was there.

    Besides, the Challenge cars now sound awful. Makes me miss the old 355 days. :)

    Drove over anyway today....very curious...lol. I’ve been going to Sebring to drive the track since 2005. Sometimes I use to do 10-15 driving events there a year. Thousands of laps there and many nights in the hotel. So I know my way around the place inside and out.

    I parked at the hotel grabbed my 70-200 and 100-400 lens and walked in the hotel out the back by the pool to shoot some pics of the cars going into turn 7. Just as I was putting the camera up to my eye I was told to leave and escorted out of the hotel!

    While outside some crew and drivers were there so I asked about the days schedule, how the track was and what cars they were in. Short story these people were totally unfriendly. This type of better than thou attitude isn’t around during the Porsche races, 48hrs.

    Anyway I drove around the back to turn 13 and snapped a few photos. Sun was facing me so not the greatest but it was good to get out of the house and drive and see some race cars. I swear my 488GTB sounds better than these 488 challenge cars....very uneventful sounding.
