Noticed that Skip Barber has courses scheduled for the same days, 4/14-15, as the FCRA Sebring race in April. Has the FCRA race been rescedhuled or cancelled? Thanks.

I guess that one was too tough. ;) Let me ask another one.

Will FCA allow FCRA to run its race during the Labor Day Glen track event (as shown in the preliminary schedule)? That would be great. Thanks.

The Savanna event is a FCA event. I don't see why not.

Wondered whether FCA's strengthened relationship with Ferrari might preclude the Club from associating with an independent series.

Time to stop asking questions, I guess, until FCRA is ready to announce its schedule. It appears no one's home at the moment, quiet but for the chirping of crickets.

Hope they make it. It's a great idea.

At least UA is using the forum to put up pretty pictures!

Yeah, those two yellow 360s were really cool-looking. I like the livery.

Hey Paul.....it was nice meeting you in Sebring....you looked good on the track. Anytime you want to join our team or need support let me know.

In regards to the series and schedule changes, we are very confident that everything will work out fine and the series will be successful....no need for anyone to worry...every series goes through some organizational/growing pains.

    Thanks Pete.

It was great meeting you too. I had a lot of fun. I'm somewhat of an orphan without a team so I will certainly let you know as things get closer. I really appreciate the offer.

I'm confident the series will get off the ground and I was just overreacting when I made that post. I can't even imagine how much effort it is to launch a new series.

I'm an optimist and I really look forward to a fun season.

    Paul

The Sebring race might still be on, just a little earlier in the week. They should know soon.

    Gentleman:

Sorry for the black out. Was on a business trip in Asia for the last month and while I was attending to a lot of FCRA business (the politics surrounding related clubs has been brutal), I was not checking the new forum.

    Here's the latest:

The first race will take place at the Celebration event in Florida, but somehow Skip Barber bumped the Sebring date. We will know Monday but at the moment today it looks like Daytona is the wonderful substitution.

On monday we will announce an amazing calendar which includes events at Daytona, Sebring, a Grand Am support race at NJMS, Watkins Glenn, Homestead, and finishing up at a new 5.5 mile F1 style state of the art racetrack in New Orleans. The final race will see the reintroduction of the French Quarter Classic.

Final sponsors have been contracted with, and sponsorship packages will go out to the 68 driver/owners signed up for the series. We are funded, well insured, organized and ready.

For those that know my background with the French Quarter Classic, I can promise you this series will deliver on the hopes of many.

John sounds like a lot of guys are itching (or *****ing) to drive. As a participant is the races last year I look forward to the series getting fired up.
