Seems theere are many schools of thought on getting around turn 17 at Sebring. Anyone here have a solution that works well. Just finished the event with the club and saw several approches taken. Spent some of the off track time with the corner worker in turn seventeen. Prefered approch seems to be in tight as you approch the corner work then out a bit before turniong back into the apex and running out to the tire wall before the bridge...

It seems to get rougher as you go out...Just wondering what other have done here and what speeds are carried through???

Correct. The correct entry is to make the worker step back from station, you get so close to the Jersey barriers. Then out (all in a straight line), then turn in so you go over the darker patch Terry Earwood painted with a spray can many years ago. Under the right third seam on the bridge, exactly perpendicular to the bridge underneath it.

    YMMV.

That seems to be what I saw the most and what worked the best for me...I saw a few other cars take it differently and they were running pretty hot so I thought there may be a better way...Thanks

Ditto from here - 's what I've found to be the fastest through there.

You should be slightly puckerd about that tire wall on exit if you are going fast enough. :)

Slightly is an understatement...I watched as I entered another car spin half way through and settle in against the wall just under the bridge. Not very forgiving turn 17!!!
