So I decided to fix the inoperable passenger door window last night. I have a new wiring harness from Ferrari of Washington that came with the car and I was all geared up to change the old one. I was told by the dealer I bought the car from the old wiring was shot and this was the only way. After reading a few threads here I decided to check a few things out first. I noticed that both the driver door switch for the passenger window and passenger switch were both unlit. This would make it seem more like a power problem than a harness I thought. I decided to disconnect the plug from the door to the body and check under the rubber boot to see how bad the wires were. Turns out there was one wire pulled completely out of the block and another was apart way out and they had made contact at some point. Bingo! I went directly to the fuse schematics and found the RH Door Window fuse, sure enough burned. I fixed the door wires so they would not pullout again and then replaced the fuse and reconnected the battery. Worked like a charm. I left the lower door panels off for now so I can coat the connections with stablant-22a. Now my wife will not complain this summer about not being able to put her window down. I know this is a small feat for most here but as it is only my second repair ever on a Ferrari it makes me feel less intimidated about future repairs.

If anyone needs a new in the box passenger door harness please let me know. I will post it here later in the for sale section or I may just put it up on Evil-Bay.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Thanks,
Now I have a new problem. The car doesn't seem to have enough battery power to turn the starter which is weird because I had the thing disconnected all night. My last start-up was only three days ago. I hope the cold of the garage or a draw somewhere is not killing the battery.

Just asking because you are new, but are you aware of the "re-initializing" procedure which should be performed after the battery has been run down, or if it has been disconnected and reconnected?

Good job on the window repair, don't be afraid of fixing things yourself!

Yup, I'm aware. I found the issue too. While doing the other work I accidently pulled the quick release to the positive lead to the starter. It was not noticable because it is under the air box. Hooked it up and it turned right over. I'm waiting the 10 minutes before I touch the gas pedal.
