    Dear Fellow Enthusiasts,

Charlotte Area Ferrari Enthusiasts (CAFE) is proud to announce our Second Annual "Ferraris at the Village" event set for September 28 & 29 in Charlotte, NC.

Thanks to our great members, last year's inaugural event was a huge success with over thirty Ferraris on display. This year, we have prepared TWO FULL DAYS of great activities for everyone's enjoyment. I do hope you will join us this year as this will certainly be two days of Ferrari fun you won't want to miss!

The venue will be Ballantyne Village, a new upscale shopping/dining/entertainment center in South Charlotte. www.ballantynevillage.com

Please contact me at [email protected] to receive a registration form or if you have any questions.

    Friday Events - September 28

    9:30am - 1pm: “Hooky Run"
    No Fee

What better excuse to play hooky from work than a fabulous run through the scenic Carolina countryside?!?! We’ll depart from the Ballantyne area for a spirited drive through the winding roads outside of Charlotte. After stopping for a pay-your-own lunch, we’ll continue making our way back to Ballantyne to finish early afternoon. Let’s get these horses out and let ‘em run!!

    4pm - 7pm : “Float n’ Fly” Reception
Hosted by Mastercraft of Charlotte and Cirrus Design
    $10 per person

Later, we’ll take a drive to the Rock Hill airport in South Carolina. Cirrus Design will have examples of their latest G3 aircraft on hand and they will be giving demo rides! While on the ground, view the newest watercraft from Mastercraft of Charlotte while enjoying heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages provided by our gracious hosts.

    10pm: “Le Mans” Movie Night
    Hosted by Ricambi America
    $5 per person

This is your chance to see the greatest racing film of all time the way it was meant to be experienced - on the big screen! We’ll have our own private showing at the beautiful Ballantyne Village Theatre. Steve McQueen stars in the 1971 masterpiece as he pilots his Gulf Porsche 917 in an epic battle with a Ferrari 512. You certainly don’t want to miss this... we’re even including the popcorn!

    Saturday Events - September 29

    11am - 3pm : “Ferraris at the Village”
    $20 per entry

Our main event at Ballantyne Village! This will be a gathering/show to be enjoyed by owners, enthusiasts, and the general public. Visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites in a number of classes. Various vendors will be on hand and each registered car will receive a goodie bag filled with great swag!

7pm : Banquet Dinner with Bob Varsha
    Sponsored by Foreign Cars Italia
    $50 per person

We are extremely honored to welcome Bob Varsha as our guest speaker as we gather for a delicious three-course dinner at City Range restaurant. Bob will share his experiences broadcasting Formula One, the Barrett-Jackson auction, and other events for SPEED. This will be the perfect way to wind down after a great day and awards from the show will be announced.

Midnight : F1 Viewing - Japanese Grand Prix Live
    Hosted by Hyper-Flow
    No Fee

The fun still isn’t over for those of us that enjoy the redline at 19,000 rpm! C’mon night owls, we’ll have our own event room at the Ballantyne Resort with a huge screen to watch all the F1 action. Come enjoy some late night snacks and cheer on Kimi & Filipe as they seek dominance in the land of the rising sun!

Actually thats what everyone thought it meant because it was a UF Gator Plate saying "F9ALY" but it meant I finally got my ferrari. I have since changed it to a NC plate. Its a UF Gator personal plate that says NATE on it. only 4 letters were allowed unfortunately. My toyota is a Blueridge Parkway plate that reads G8RZ and my Rover had G8RNATE on it...

I like the Gators you could say

Ah, well, I originally asked if it was because you finally got the Ferrari, and you said otherwise. Anyway, two pics with your car from last year. :)
