    If I'm not mistaken I believe that it is the parking brake. correct me if I am wrong.

    Its the parking brake. The reason the 360 has a separate parking brake becomes clear if you have ever raced your car on the track and pulled into the pits, turned the car off and set the parking brake. What happens is your brakes are so hot they weld themselves to your rotors. Then you need a torch and a chisel to break them free again. On the 360 the parking brake is separate and so is not hot when you set it.
