Hi All, I'm trying to find an old thread I think I read once upon a time. My secondary air pump is causing codes and I need to replace it. Since the part isn't available, I believe some have used a modified Toyota part as a replacement? Does anyone remember the thread I'm talking about? I have upped the fuse size as some suggested and that did work. However, after my major, nothing seems to be keeping the code from tripping. Thanks,
https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/secondary-air-pump-nla-never-fear.628222/ Have you confirmed the pump isn’t running? Or is the fuse blowing? If neither and a major was done, maybe the plugs on the solenoid valves were swapped?
My mechanic took mine apart and it was rubbing internally. He fixed that but it continues to throw a code. You can hear it running - loudly - but it still throws the code.
