Does anyone do any business with them or know someone who does? I looked at there site they only have a few branches and they are only in Riverside and L.A. all seem legit. But being in San Diego I have not clue or experience with them.

Reason why I ask is they might be funding a business deal im involved in and was just doing some research to make sure they are real.....you never know these days.

    Thanks guys

My mother used to work for them in LA. She was assistant to the pres.
I thought they got bought out. I will call and ask her and get back to you in a min or two

Edit: She said in 1992 they got bought out by Bank of America. But she also said she remembered reading about another company recently acquiring the name and Doing business as Security bank/security Pacific Bank. She recommended calling the FDIC to verify it is a legitimate operation

    Hope that helps

You can change anything on the wikoepedia or whatever it is called. Also in my research I read the whole bank of American buy out thing....which is one reason why I posted because It cought my eye. Plus it says in the about us history part they started back in the 80's.... so I dont know.

Thats why I justed wanted to see if anyone does use this bank or has been by it ever?

Side note - something that stood out to me in forms they ask for all you're personally info as if you were to apply for a loan. Tax Returns, S.S ID card, so on.
The only thing is we are a corp. so I found it weird they would ask for personally stuff when the company is doing the business and it would be done in the business name??? Is this normal? I have never gone down this road with the company before so I just might be over reacting.

They are totally legit. I do most of my business banking with them. Paul Sitker handles the business side. They are a real estate asset based lender based in LA with a few branches. They bought the name. They are FDIC approved. Great to work with.

That is totally normal. Unless you are a large well established corp. They want an officer to gurantee the loan. You are most likely co-signing for the loan to the corp and will be liable to repay if the corp can't pay on the loan.
