I posted this on the 360 Board (because I want it for a 360) and received no help. I wonder if people are concerned about talking about their security system for their car? This makes it hard to learn the pros and cons of what to purchase.

Here is the post that was put in the 360 section:

What do you guys recommend for a security system for your Ferrari?

Has anyone ever had their car stolen out of their garage?

What are your thoughts on LoJack?

    thanks, Kevin.

My car stays outside in a bad part of town with the doors unlocked......

I leave the last tune up receipt on the floor.........

I think I could probably leave the keys in the ignition......

I have the full system with the early warning upgrade. If the car is moved without the LoJack fob being in the car; it calls up to 5 phone numbers to warn you. This actually works; I know because I pushed the car outside to wash it and I got the calls.

You also get a discount on your insurance. In a handfull of years the system will have paid for itself. If you get this or any alarm; make sure the tech knows to wire it in front of the shut-off switch near the battery. The alarm that was installed in my car when I bought it was after the shut-off. And of course... no power means alarmy no-worky.
