Maybe I missed the thread for this movie but in case not:
The second most important man in the history of Ferrari has just made a film with a very respected auto journalist, on his time at Ferrari.
I went to the premiere yesterday. It should have been brilliant, epic.
    I have 3 observations:
    - Luca is right in his insinuation that Ferrari have forgotten him, and yet he is the man who made modern Ferrari, both track and road. 10 years ago when I started on Fchat it was all about Luca here
    - I have no idea how such a good journalist and such a brilliant (if divisive) ex CEO can make such a dreadful film. It’s self promoting vanity film at its worst, with no real insight, no outside perspective (even from Harris), the most superficial sweep through F1 (with some nice archive from the 70s and 80s), absolutely no perspective on the road cars at all, and way too much filler of them drinking wine with a view and soft focus on horses and bees and whatever on Luca’s ranch
    - Luca’s era at Ferrari deserves much better than this and maybe someone will tell the real story and Luca will speak to them, along with others involved in the journey. Some might say he betrayed Ferrari but like Wiedeking at Porsche, I think he allowed it to survive and thrive. F1 successes aside over the decade, he inherited Testarossa, 348, 412 and left with LaFerrari, F12, 458, FF. Most of us could not have done that.

Luca, if you are reading this - quality leadership deserves quality storytelling and examination. Don’t be frightened of it. And Chris….

I am looking forward to seeing this. Manish Pandey, the director and driving force behind this movie, made SENNA and the Bernie Ecclestone docu-series that I would like to see.

I hope the movie is better than your review. Luca really carried the company from the old ways to the modern era. I would imagine there are many "puppet master" moments in his tenure and perhaps there are some amazing plots he cannot share... It would definitely lack the excitement of following a race car driver, because it's hard to find the action in presenting his work.

I love Chris Harris. I think he is at his greatest walking through the engineering of a car with it's maker. Of course he makes us all happy when he's sliding around the corners of a track. Both Chris and Manish are very much Ferrari lovers. I hope their love didn't blind them from making a good movie.
