Especially seeking cutaways, drawings, engineering details of these cars in 1962 Nurburgring 1000K trim. I think this group would have included sn#'s: 0790, 0804 and 0806. I have a fairly good accumulation of photos and the standard books (Nye, Henry, etc.) but can't seem to find any good cutaway drawings showing overall layout and locations or drawings/photos of the chassis construction. Would appreciate any help or pointers! Thanks...

The best book is the John Godfrey one "Ferrari Dino SPs", out of print just now I believe.

It has the Ferrari press release cutaway drawing reproduced, and dozens of detail pictures.

Giovanni Cavara's book "60 Vetture ai raggi X" features the 1959 Dino 196 with a cutaway drawing on page 49 but that is probably not the one your are looking for.

...for the info and references! I appreciate it!

Jeff-- I hadn't seen that particular R & T and will be watching eBay for a copy...

Macca-- I was lucky enough to get a copy of Godfrey a while back. You're right that is by far the best overall reference...If only it included a complete chassis photo...

Jack-- I'm not familiar with Cavara's book, will try and track down a copy. That should be the the earlier front-engined Dino but I'd love to see it anyway!

Thanks again and if you think of anything else...

As you probably figured out, this R&T drawing is of a 268SP, but I understand the layout of a 246SP is similar.
