I would like to know everything I can about the TR's development and production. The books I have come across are not very deep in this area. Any recommendations?

For the Countach there are many good written and video interviews of Paolo Stanzani, Bob Wallace, Valentino Balboni, etc., giving deep details into what it was like to be there and deal with the practical challenges of developing and manufacturing the car.

Anything like that for our TRs?

It's got a surprising amount of interesting technical information about TR development. One thing that sticks in my mind is how they noted starting with very beautiful NACA side ducts on the coachwork like the BB512i, and then they realized: "Holy crap, I guess we need to cut the whole side of the car away to get an opening big enough to get enough air in for the radiators" (OK, I'm paraphrasing ;)), and then they found out that they need to add the vertical deflectors to get that air to go into the engine bay rather than just pass by the side of the car at high speed.

That’s exactly the kind of detail I’m looking for.

I believe the pics in the post linked here are from that book, yes?

I asked for confirmation from the poster but no reply. In any case, book looks to be unobtainium.

    :) LOL.

I don’t need it so bad as to wish anyone harm. Enjoy it in good health… but maybe post a couple more of the really interesting pages. ;)

GB progetti N. 10 is a great book. I have been looking but never found one. Ironically No 9 and No 11 (and many others) can be had very cheap

    I must have it!

Can you post a photo of the cover page, or the ISBN number? Is it the same book as the Progetti No 10 others in this thread have mentioned?

Don't think that it has an ISBN number as it is more of a magazine than a book (couldn't find anything ISBN-like on my copy). The "number" in the upper right corner of the cover of my copy is 0394-1132 (but don't know if that means anything).

I have that on my watch list too but it is a sealed copy, would be kind of a shame to open it.

If I were to buy the thing and sell high quality PDFs here, I suppose that would be wrong and/or illegal?

I’m actually full professor and staff at UBC. I’ll contact our librarian and let them know it’s available at Harvard and MIT, and ask if they can get it in. There’s usually inter university loans and such. Don’t know why I didn’t think of it before. All in the name of higher education and learning..
