A number of rebuilt projects, he is very good with Aluminium, welding, etc.
He would be my first option.

Thanks Chas! We did just open shop. Still moving equipment and tools in so we are about 30 days away from being fully operational give or take.

In addition to hand-formed aluminum experience we also have full carbon fiber composite capacities, CNC mill/lathe. I went to school for automotive design and have experience creating one-off concept cars from the ground up from concept sketches to scale models to full size clays and fabrication.

they look very competent indeed. just concerned they are more for bringing a car back to 100pt original vs creating something new.

It would be worth your discussing your project with Jason. He's very approachable. I know they have done at least on one-off project. While I was not especially impressed with the owner's concept the craftsmanship was first rate.

And of course I would recommend Anthony without question,

Read your thread in the British section, sorry to hear about the fire.

There are many qualified coach builders who are up to the task of shaping a car. The crucial difference is they are not car designers. If you want to create your own custom design and not just simply "massage" an existing one you have to find someone trained to do so. Creating a unique, cohesive well surfaced car design is not an easy task. Just look at how many people get it wrong. Most error on the side of just trying to borrow a few design cues from several different classic designs and just get a retro hot mess. Few car designers also shape aluminum or make carbon panels. You can always get a designer to work alongside a reputable shop but you don't want to make the mistake of letting a shop tackle the project without a designer who's well versed in design and class a surfacing.

I'll gladly help in any way I can. Feel free to contact me and we can talk in more detail.

Also, JM2 is a car design instructor at CCS and has been in the industry for years. He's worth talking too as he has forgotten more about car design than most know.

hi anthony, pls pm me your mobile number so that i can pass it on to my father.
tomorrow, the insurance adjustor and paul tzikouris will be on site in naples to inspect and determine residual value of the e-type. depending on what the verdict is, we will take some action - one of them may be to buy whats left of the e-type and then come up with a project to make it into something else.
