Early 70's Targa ? I still have visions/delusions of his robin egg blue 996GT2 in my garage. The most expensive GT2 on the planet I know of. I'm sure he's a nice guy and all...
You and a whole lotta others http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsche-:-911_W0QQitemZ290326313951QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ20090623?IMSfp=TL0906231510006r1075 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey Michael, great seeing you randomly in the Hamptons a couple of weeks ago. Should be heading out there again this weekend, will I see you? What were you driving when you took this picture? Do you have any of your toys out there?
No, that was John Voight's car. BTW - I waved to Jerry, but I he didn't see me - probably because I was in my Prius at the time. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is he a Porsche fanatic or a just a 911 fanatic? I don't recall seeing him in any other models except the 911 (except CGT maybe?).
he has a 356, 550, 959, etc. but AFAIK he doesn't have any of the 924/944/968 or 928 cars. also, there was either a picture or a model (maybe both) in his "apartment" on the show. so I think he's a Porsche guy, not just a 911 guy.
Check this out. My mother is a HUGE Seinfeld fan. She just retired. Her company hired one of the actors from Seinfeld to come and give her a gift and congratulations for a job well done. I don't follow the show so I don't know who it was, never the less. very thoughtful IMO.
I saw him driving down Hollywood Blvd in LA in his 993 C2 Mexico Blue aka the last 993/air cooled Porsche ever built! Hottttt
Awesome spot. I actually met him. True story. It was at Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo (Portland, Oregon Ferrari dealer). It was Jerry's first season. I don't watch a whole lot of tv so I did not know him. I introduced myself, and he said his name was Jerome, which it actually is. That is my middle name so I thought that was cool. I asked him what he did for a living and he looked around for a moment and said, "Don't tell anyone. But I am a drug dealer." He then chuckled and said, "Seriously though, see my friend over there? He is a drug dealer. But it's legal because he's a psychiatrist." He chuckled again and then test drove a car. He purchased a Silver over blue 80's Porsche Speedster. To answer the above question, he is a big time Porsche fan.
it was a poster that Porsche sent out with the rear of a 911 off the ground and they put a sticker on the plates with your last name. I actually have one I am guessing around '88
