    Hey Guys,

I just bought the new red/tan F430 coupe that FoSV got in some sort of trade-deal. Of course I paid over MSRP, but who cares, this car is nearly perfectly configured to what I'd want if I had access to a build slot. Now, for the next car, maybe I will have access.

I'm selling my 360. The car is being consigned by FoSV... no way I want to deal with trying to sell the car myself. Check it out at:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/ferrariads/showproduct.php?product=222&cat=500

You can also see it at FoSV's website here:

For those of you who've seen the car at Santana Row, you know it's in perfect condition. I just had it's 30K service done at FoSF and all campaigns are done, including variators. The car has 19" HREs, Stage II Tubi exhaust and full Carbon Fiber engine kit. The car is just perfect looking and sounds amazing.

Check it out and please let anyone who might be interested know about the car.

Take care and hope to see some of you on Saturday at Santana Row with the new ride.

    Best,
    Frank

    Enjoy the new ride Frank!

The user name thing crossed my mind twice:

    1) When I created it knowing (hoping) it wouldn't fit for long
    2) When I was posting my most recent message.

I need to find out if I can transfer all my user information to another, less model-specific, name. Yes, I checked and 430F1 was taken :)

I just drove by there on Monday. Was that your car sitting outside in front? I've seen your car at SRO and saw it last Sat. in fact.

I believe it's fully possible to rename your nick if you send a PM or a e-mail to the site admin and ask kindly. I have seen name changes many times before. Enjoy your F430! Dreamcar... One day haha... :):)

    Thanks guys.

    I really appreciate the notes.

I'll send email to the admin once I come up with a a new and pithy user name.

I dropped my 360 off last Thursday AM. The HRE's give it a totally unique and aggressive stance, so if you saw it, you'd remember.

After I recover from the price of the 430 :) I'm totally interested in getting another set of these wheels... they're amazing and, I think, perfect for these cars.

More soon and see you all this Saturday at SR with the new ride. FoSV said the car will be ready on Friday...

    Best,
    Frank

I just may take you up on this when the time is right. For a while, anyways, I think I'll enjoy the car as delivered. When I get itchy, it'll be exhaust and wheels.

Thanks for your kind offer, I really appreciate it.

In return... you know where I work and I'm always open to swapping discounts.

    Best,
    Frank

Would the HRE's fit your new 430?

Yes, the HRE's from the 360 would bolt right onto the 430... but I decided (after considerable thought) to leave the HREs on the 360 as it'll help sell the car. I currently have it consigned at FoSV. When the time comes to consider upgrades to the 430, I'll likely start with exhaust, then wheels then CF in the engine bay (funny, just the things I'd done to my 360).

The ball-polished wheels on the 430 are gorgeous, but they don't have the finish or the deep, chromed, lip the HREs do which really give the wheels some depth.

LOL... a combo of jet-lag (just returned from Europe the night before) and anticipation of getting the car which was delayed until nearly 5PM!!
