    Sold my house and building a new lake house so I’ll be doing the downtown condo thing for at least two years. No good parking and I know the build is going to take a ton of non work time so I figured I would sell this beauty. I listed it on eBay if anyone is interested. Thus, probably won’t be on line much here but hopefully back in the near future. I guess not getting this Pista allocation worked out for the best.

    Ild build quickly as I don't believe the next 488 will be a V8 but a 6

    There must be a way to park it at the condo. I was at a condo and ended up renting tandem spots by the walkway so I could park right on the parking spot lines. No one could park close enough to door the car or do anything stupid.

    Don’t believe the hype from brokers or folks trying to convince you there is no market for used 488s. I sold my spider on eBay for MSRP in 3 days and had 2 full price offers and at least a dozen for a small discount. Had a number of brokers reach out with crap offers trying to convince me otherwise. Bumbed to see it go.

    Are you sure you sold it for MSRP? There was a car identical to yours that was listed for almost $30K below, primarily to balance the optional exterior paint color option, with 989 miles and full PPF.

    Congrats!

    I had a similar situation with my Speciale when I sold it last year. Lots of brokers and broker's shills reaching out with lowball offers. The dealer bought it back from me for close to what I bought it for at a much higher price than the lowballers were offering. When I figure in the trade-in value I was able to work on the Italia ($25k more than local dealers were offering for trade) for the Speciale, I made out really well overall and drove the Speciale for a year. :D

    Yep, Having sold a number of exotic cars, I find the key is to list low and wait for the up bidding to start. Its the Ebay effect, people see a "great deal" and then can't let go even as prices rise. Its the whole mentality of ebay bidding when things worth thousands start at .99cents. It takes some guts from the seller but no question it works well, even with expensive cars....

    Just completed my house this year including a large new garage space. Almost 3 years all in but fortunately we beat the supply & demand issues and costs by about 12 months. Thus will all the money I “saved” I placed an order for a new F8 yesterday. Sounds questionable if Ill actually get one but my dealer said he’s optimistic but TBD I guess. Thankfully I was able to get a 2021 Turbo S Cab and Taycan until my next F car arrives. House came out pretty good too….
