You come across to me as one of the most enthusiastic Boxer owners on this site. Why not sell the 308 and keep the Boxer.??? I regretted selling my first car so much that even though I had only taken a deposit at the time, I started looking for another straight away as the owner would not have accepted a refund.

Thanks Steve, the dollar value is the reason, the 308 wont provide the funds Im looking for to do what I have in mind. Its a tough choice BUT if I dont get what I want for it ill keep it and rethink my direction. I wont blow the car out just to sell it. Ill always be a boxer nut and may get another down the road, hopefully as nice as the one I have now.

    Put away the pipe!

BTW, I am in Tuscany now. On the drive down the A13 and A1 not a SINGLE F! I did see a 1980-something Firebird which looked completely out of place and a lot of 2l cars with skinny tires being driven at 140 kph.

I can understand selling the BB to start a business but for another hobby no way.

IMO if I would sell my car chances are I would never have another BB as they are rare and finding a good one would take awhile and they are on the cusp of getting high priced, the cheap cars will be brought up to standard as it makes sense to do so economically and you won't lose money doing so, this will bring prices up to a higher consistent level, so selling now and wanting another in a few years may be a hard pill to swallow paying a premium over what the car sold for, so more than likely you would opt for a different model.

I'd sell the 308 they made so many more of them even though its not the same amount of $$ as you may need, if you wanted another it wouldn't be hard to find one for a similar price in a few years.

Believe me the thought has crossed my mind several times of selling my BB to swap for a 360 but nothing drives and sounds like a BB and they are a timeless beautiful look not to mention the hand made aspect and rarity of them, plus many have forgotten one of Enzos last personal masterpieces made the way he wanted with his input unlike todays new Ferraris

I'm with you on that one. I had recently kicked around the idea of selling mine for a more modern exotic such as a Lambo Gallardo that I could drive every day if I chose. But, after spending all day Saturday washing, waxing, vacuming, leather conditioning and checking the oil and mechanicals, I decided that this is indeed a special car and there will never be any others like it again. I'll just drive it for the sheer pleasure on weekends or occasianally during the week and regard it as s special automotive treat. Besides, I had a lot of fun just making it as clean as possible and it is quite beautiful now that I'm done. I finally have a digital camera and I will post pics when I find out how to do so here. I say keep it.

Im keeping it. I realize it would be a mistake to sell it. I did get several emails and PM's of interested buyers which amazed me since I only mentioned it here once. These were from people that dont post here, members Ive never heard of. Makes me wonder how many viewers we actually have here that we just dont know about. Is Luca watching? How about Micheal?

When I sold my most recent bb.....I went through the same withdrawals that I had when I sold my first boxer in 89...absolute anxiety attack when I realized what I did, but I made nearly 50 g's by selling this one when I did so that helped buy a large bottle of xanax to calm me down........Had my first child last year and realized I would use the BB even less than what I had been....so sold it on an upmarket time.
I regret it but I will have a new toy soon...that is as soon as the Diaper period is over....Boxers are peculiar, almost overlooked when in the presence of other F classics....it was at those times I said sell it and then I drove it home and said Eh Eh...Marvelous car, but for some reason they still haven't come into their own yet???
Perhaps I will have another some day!!!!!!!

Having a Boxer is like bringing a gorgeous hooker dressed in street clothes to a wedding event...
just doesn't get the respect she should!!!!!!!!

Having a Boxer is like having Halle Berry an Heather Locklear living with you full time, performing natural sex acts daily, and not giving a flying luck who knows or what they think.
