You gonna finally break down and find a older F-car? I know you had fun with that z vette, but you'd have more fun with a 308,328 or mondial. You should be able to find one in that price range that you can tinker with and supe up.

    Dave.

Not ready just yet for my F-Car. I honestly just want something faster right now. All the cars Im considering are 600-700rwhp. I want to go 10's or 9's. Still a vette, the car is entirly too much fun, I can't not have one right now. If I sell this, Im buying another Z06, then after that, Ill get the 308 Ive been lusting after

and yes, it is up on corvetteforum

you would need alot more $$ to get 600-700hp out of a porsche, better stick to the chevy.

A speedway white Z06 is a rare car. I take it your considering KB/whipple cobras? Good luck with the sale.

I don't understand why you are selling it when in two subsequent postings you say you are going to buy another one (?)

to buy a fast one :)

I am only looking at 600rwhp or more cars.

    I can spend 30-35K on a different Z06 with 20,000 in mods.
Thats only 5-8 more than what my car is selling for.

Or I can spend 20K on my own and end up at 45K

    Just makes sense

Wow, I coulda sworn a Z06 was an excellent track car, willing to bet it would not be far of your 355's path.

On a lighter note, I love your 355, it is amazing looking in that color. Only thing to make it better is if it was a GTS, stunning car.

Could have a 400whp civic that would handle amazingly, and run 10's for around 8-10K.

I think my modded SMG M3 handles better and gets around the track quicker than my F355.
But.... I'm too big of a ***** to take it out there though for the comparison test!
Not fond of the 355 in GTS or Spyder. I had a 328 in GTS though.

How about a Turbocharged ( Build sheet included ) '98 M3 sedan making over 400 at the wheels...all that with genuine 13K miles....The car has Methanol injection system and if boost is cranked upto 16/17 psi ( 460rwhp) then it should be able to take on even a lightly modded new Z06 too....The car is a blast to drive....and no it's not a Honda...It's a BMW....

I dont know if your looking for buying a prebuilt car or building the car yourself. I think buying a car some one has already built is honestly the way to go. What are your goals for the car? All motor car, FI car, or nitrous car?

I have 3 cars in mine right now.

1st choice is an 2003 electron blue Z06, headers and drag radials, one owner, old old man 4800miles!!!!! its brand new!
2nd choice is a yellow 2001 Z06 with 19K miles it is a 402 stroker car with spray and does 501 on motor and 687 on spray
    3rd choice is a white 2001 Z06 with a 402 and a D1 Pro charger. makes 700rwhp

basically, I'm looking for a 9- low 10 sec car. 600rwhp+ I am only fond of the blue one because its brand new and its a steal! I'm trying desperately to buy it!

I would take the speed way white car even though EB is my favorite. I would immagine theres alot more boost left on the d1 and you can spray more nitrous. Ive never been in a nitrous car but the blower cars are fun and you always have the same power unlike with nitrous and different bottle temps/pressure.

Does it consume oil? My 2001 Z06 went through a quart every 300-400 miles. After I converted from Mobil 1 to Redline, it wasn't as bad, maybe 700-800 miles on a quart. Either way, not acceptable. That's why I got rid of it.

In 2002, GM changed to a different piston ring, and eliminated the problem.
