    I noticed that another region had some people going... I'm planning on hitting it because I've never been to Vegas before, and I can get a badge...

    I've been a few times in previous years as a buyer. It gets bigger and better each and every time. Oddly enough the first year, I missed one half of the convention because I didn't realize there was another part of the convention center.

    I can say nothing but great great things about the SEMA show. It's great for eye candy (cars and models) to meeting face to face with business contacts.

    If you aren't too picky about places to stay, the Sahara can be clean and now has a tram (not a bus!) that goes down the street to the convention center. It's connected to the Hilton as well, which is also a nice place. While the Sahara isn't an exclusive place to stay, it's cheap and isn't a mess like Circus Circus or Excalibur which are actually a hair more.

    Yeah, I haven't been but am looking forward to it... I plan on crashing with my uncle, who will have a booth and a badge for me... now I just need a plane ticket and to exceed my sales target this month so I can take a couple weekdays off at the beginning of next month and not catch any grief in the office :)

    I have my credentails but don't know if the press of other business will let me go - probably won't know until the last minute and will stay with a buddy that is an exhibitor and already has a room.
