Well I just got back from my first SEMA show (Special Thanks to two special people for making it happen!) Dried out and tired feet after three days of walking and drooling. Some unbelievable creations out there. Pics will be coming shortly and locally available CD, at our next cruise. Now I have a one of a kind pinstriped cell phone from one of the greats - HotRod, the PinStriper.

Sounds cool, Rick. Where was it? L.A.? Vegas?

BTW...As I know that you also like Corvettes. The Fall Edition of Chevy/Vettefest is in a couple of weekends, November 18th. & 19th. But it has new ownership, and has switched over from McCormick Place to the Rosemont Convention Center. Frankie & I will be there all weekend, as, we have a booth for our Go Karts.

That first Mercedes is about the most god awful thing I have ever seen, next to excessive gold chains and diamond teeth. It says "I am pathetic with no taste, and I need you to notice me cause it's the only way I can feel good'.

On the other hand, the car in the 3rd to last photo was interesting, and I didn't recognize it. What is it (the brown/orange one)?

That's the one that caught my attention as well. I *believe* that is a F1 for the road. I heard about this a year ago or so. It is of course not a F1, but uses its design characteristics and is street legal. Has little weight and an incredible power to weight ratio. Monoposto as well. Gosh, I'd love to have one of those.

Are you talking about the Caparo T1?
Yah..I also heard it was $350,000 and the power to weight is almost as much as a Veyron

I thought I remember seeing another street legal F1 style car in the Dupont Registry recently.
